I am trying to find out where I can purchase a stepper motor for my 05 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged. Speedometer is not functioning properly it will start out @ 30mph or 70 or whatever and not return to 0mph. seen on here that the stepper motor can be replaced but Oreilly's and Dealership can not get just the stepper motor, have to order full cluster panel. Thanks in advance for any help

lol was just checking that out....have you fixed this problem before? if so is it fairly easy and is there a certain stepper motor I need for my car?

 

That should be the proper stepper motor.
