1995 monte 3.4 v6 superchargeable?

What I'm about to tell you isn't meant to offend, but will help you understand your situation. With that said, the 1995 model year is the WORSE year Monte to own. This is because the computer system is something inbetween OBD-I and OBD-II (dubbed OBD-1.5). There is really no practical way to tune the PCM because of that. If you want to spend the time and money to get a COMPLETE wiring harness from a 1996 or 1997 Z34, then that will help.
Next, there is no practical way to supercharge the 3.4 DOHC V6 (LQ1). However, it has been done:
The problem with that setup is that there were a few custom parts that were needed and the price of it was pretty expensive too IIRC, plus the hood had to be cut open since the supercharger stuck out of the hood about 4-5". If I were you I would probably sell your 95 Monte and if your heart is set on doing a crazy build with an LQ1 powered Monte then buy a 1997 Z34 (best year for the LQ1 Monte's) and then turbocharge it. In the end it will be cheaper, you'll make more power, and there will be fewer headaches.

you could put any kind of motor you want into any car. The question is are you willing to put alot of money and work into it? Your looking at some major work. Even me, when I was taking the L36 out of my 2001 SS I wanted to get the L67, but that involved finding a L67 motor, and transmission, and a wiring harness and wiring harness's are a pain in the ***!
Word of advice, leave it the way it is. If you want to make it faster then spend $2000 on a turbo setup

I didn't mean to make it sound like your Monte is junk, because it isn't. It's a Monte But, if you do any major modifications to a 1995 Monte (LS or Z34) you will have to completely replace your whole wiring system with an OBD-II wiring system. If you want to do an L67 swap, then I would find a 1998 or 1999 Monte Z34 in a junkyard and take out All of the wires from it in order to convert your Monte to OBD-II. It's hard work, but a couple people have done it. If you go turbo, you will have to convert it to OBD-II as well.
That's why I said 1995 is the worse year for Monte Carlo's. It's all because it has OBD-1.5. If it wasn't for that, you'd have a great car

I'm not really sure how much the wiring would cost, but I would budget at least $200 for just the wiring. It will all depend on how much a junkyard will charge though. Just make sure you get everything, from the OBD-II port all the way to the PCM.
