The car was purchased in March of 2007 from it's third owner in Raleigh, NC for $9500. It was a great deal at that time for a car in this condition and I have worked hard to maintain it. It hasn't let me down yet. It earned its nickname after our '50 Chevy truck (since sold) was giving us fuel delivery issues and the '68 Torino has stranded me in Raleigh with a burned ignition coil.
