Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
Purchased at Fletcher Jones Chevrolet back in Apr 1983 just before going into the Air Force. Trivia, I named her "Brandy" because while waiting to close the deal, a stray dog came-up to me in the dealership parking lot. I kept the stray dog, then named her (see pic of her on dog house) and also named my Monte "Brandy".
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
V6 229 - predominantly stock, although I am in the process of cleaning-up the engine compartment now that most of my emissions parts froze-up years ago, and in Texas I've gone past the age limit for testing.
Suspension Modifications:
Nothing significant. Just routine replacement over the years.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Crager SS
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Replaced my 60/40 bench seat with bucket seats. Installed a gauge-set this month. Only took me 31 years to finally do that and stop relying on the idiot lights. :) Most other exterior mods are cosmetic (Chrome differential cover, sway bar, trans pan, and valve covers).
Future Modifications:
On-going engine compartment dressing and interior restoration from years of use and abuse from the sun. A rock-solid paint job in a must as well.
