Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
found it looking sad and sorry in weeds that had grown up higher than the roofline at the end of a driveway in the neighborhood. saw someone outside one day and asked if they were interested in selling it. we negotiated $400 was a fair price, and after jumpping the battery and airing up the tires i drove it home.

the car was nicely optioned, and appeared to have been maintained for the better part of its life. however, whoever drove it before me was not gentle, and it showed. missing center caps, dented body panels, mismatched bald tires, bad brakes, and an exterior so dirty i originally thought the car was maroon.... turns out its bright red!

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
no mods so far, other than a tune up, new battery, washer bottle, and switching to mobil 1 full synthetic oil. also hollowed out the clogged catalytic convertor. painted the "3.1 SFI" details on the UIM red for some visual interest and cleaned the entire engine bay.

Suspension Modifications:
compleatly stock. only mod was painting the rear suspension peices and brake drums black to clean up the look of the car, everything was surface rusted before.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
factory alloy wheels, i cleaned the caked on brakedust out of the pores of the wheels when i put new tires on... 4 brand new BFGoodwrench Traction T/A rotationals. after getting the missing center caps from a junkyard, i painted the bowtie logos red ( like a Z34). it really stands out nicely.

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
the interior has the factory bucket seats and full length center console, in dark gray cloth. i put some cheapo K mart red & black seatcovers onto the front seats, and wrapped T-shirts from some local car shows around the rear seat backs. also threw in my "keep on truck'in" 1969 vintage floormats.

as for the exterior, first thing was washing all the tree sap and road gime off... then waxing it out, compounding the scuff marks out of the paint, and repairing the most obvious dents. i added a set of window ventshades. i also made a red painted bowtie logo for the trunk, and changed the stock "LS" lettering to "RS", to match my initals.

Future Modifications:
someday i hope to add a brickyard spoiler to the car, and repair the rest of the dents & repaint the whole thing. i also plan on replacing the speakers, re-dying the carpet in the interior. after the engine or trans goes ka-blooie, i'll probibly swap in a 3.4 DOHC or a 3.8... depending on what i can get my hands on. bwahahahaha.
