I bought this Monte Carlo in the Summer of 2010 as a Project car....Something to cruise in and Play around with. What seemed like a Rock Solid/Smooth Driving Car turned out to have some Rust in some very Hard to see Area's. So I decided to take it off the road and do a complete Paint and Body Job and make this SS a truly Unique one of a kind Monte Carlo SS
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Originally a 3.8L V6 Naturally Aspirated......Has been replaced with a Bone Stock 3.8L Supercharged (L67) out of a 2001 Pontiac GTP with approx 186,000 KM's on it.....with the Addition of a K&N Cold Air Intake and 180 Degree T/Stat. Never been rebuilt to my knowledge. The Car had 216,000 KM's on it when I first purchased it. Dexcool Coolant Flushed out of system in favour of the normal Green.
Trans is also just a Stock 4SPD Auto 4T65E-HD out of the GTP.
Brake Calipers Painted Body Color.
Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors-Directional Front & Rear.
Ceramic Brake Pads. Ft & Rr
Stainless Headers with a 3" Downpipe and Flowmaster Muffler's with 3" Tips
Suspension Modifications:
Lowered 1.5" in the Front and 1.0" in the rear. Eibach Lowering Kit. Urethane Stab Links and Stab Bushings in the Front. Stock in the Rear.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
18" X 8" Motegi Racing Rims Model # MR116 (Originally had a Red Stripe around the Outside. I RePainted to Match the Car)
