Factory Manual Transmissions (originally 305 car) and T-top '78 Monte, ONE owner, gorgeous black paint, interior like new condition. This car is a garaged since new survivor, hasn't seen rain in 30 years! Documented 1,719 Monte's were produced in '78 w/ manual, many 3 speed V6s, not sure how many were T-top or were produced w/ 305. In '79 only V6 were available with manual. The car still blows me away everytime I get in it or under it. I've owned it for 31 years and hate to part with it though just bought a Corvette.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
ZZ3 crate motor installed in 1996 along with Super T-10 4 speed (from a '77 Z28). Drive train has 8K miles on it, no leaks, odd noises or surprises... just get & skit. Car weighs < 3,100 lbs. Still have original Saginaw trans to go with the car. Edlebrock TES headers, custom 3" cat split to 2.25 Walker muffs with stock looking tips, looks like factory. Stock 7.5" posi unit, 3.23 gear. Hurst, Edlebrock tuned carb for street, centerforce clutch...
Suspension Modifications:
lowered in front, Hotchkis springs. Still runs upgrade factory HD suspension sway bars, KYB shocks. Underside is showroom condition, floorpans, drive shaft and components are as clean as top of car.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Wheels are billet Centerlines, 16 x 7 front, 16 x 8 rear. Tires are 255-50's BFG ZR 50s.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Original and still like new. Replaced head liner and carpet. Autometer gauges, tack on column, others under center "stack"
