Comfortable big car - get'em while you still can. I handed down my 1995 Firebird to my son and was looking for a comfortable car. Anything would have sufficed (impala, bonneville, T-bird, etc) but I have always been the one that gets hooked on something slightly different, something you don't see on every block (cough Camry cough cough Accord cough) and the Monte caught my eye.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Totally stock. 3.5 V6, 4spd automatic. Flowmaster that does not one thing except make noise ;)
Suspension Modifications:
Wouldn't want any. She's built for comfort.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Eagle 192 polished alloys. Kept the stock 16" size, my car was bought for comfort and 24" rims are not my style. Riding on Michelin Primacy MX4 rubber. Surefooted and very nice ride.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Panavise iPod holder. Ham radio remote mounted with controls in overhead panel. 30 year old vanity plates upgraded, they were 70s yellow on blue and very beat up from being on a pickup truck. OnStar is unplugged and does not function. Put a truck bed cargo bar in the trunk between the wheel wells to keep stuff in place.
Future Modifications:
Fix the LR sideswipe & rear bumper. Was there when I got it.
