I wouldn't use a bolt pattern that wasn't 5x115

Also that tire size is 3% smaller than factory and I wouldn't use that either.

doesnt the tire have to be smaller since the rim size is increasing, the tire has to be more "low profile"

If you are putting on 18 by 8 you might need a 245 tire. The 114.5 bolt pattern will fit. Not perfect, but it will fit without issues.

I don't think you understand proper tire sizing.

But 245/45/18 is the correct size for an 18" rim on these cars. Trust me. I use it.

If you use an improperly sized tire, your speedo and odometer will be off.

I don't recommend, you can do what you want with bolt pattern.

A lot of people run 5x114.3. I just personally never would.

This rim issue has been argued over and over. Some do and some don't. Some haev ran them with no problem for years.
