Widest tires for 1973 monte carlo

Default Widest tires for 1973 monte carlo
Im going to be using 15x8 corvette rally wheels and would like to know what the widest tire i can run on the rear and front without rubbing. Could i go as wide as a 275 out back and 255 on the front?

the tire shouldn't be over 2' wider than the wheel to be on the safe side or you'll get very bad tire wear.
