Widest Tire I can tuck Under The Rear Fender?

thanks alot. that firebird is actually for sale on craigslist it boogies down pretty good too. dont quote me on this cause i didnt look at his wheels too hard but there was a 4th gen i have seen running a 17 with a 285 on it. you can go wider then the 275 as long as you go with a lower profile tire. the 60 series 275 is a fat tire with a ton of side wall and buldge.you can most probably fit a tire with a 45 or 40 series with 4 inch of backspacing but that is as wide as i would go or youll hit the frame. as is im about a 1/4 inch from the frame. well good luck and post some pics, and if your looking for a center console ive got one and some other stuff.
