Default wheel & tire fitment

which is the better fitment:

A 235/60R15 mounted on a 7" rim

or a 235/60R15 mounted on a 8" rim

the tie size will work with either size rim.

"Better" is completely relative? Which will look better, ride better?

Well, the "fit" onto the tire is the same. I suppose on the 8" tire it would look a little wider. If you think the 325's on the back of a Vette are cool then I guess the 8" tire gets you a little closer to that.

well if were just talking about fitment then i would mount them on the 7s. on the 8s they may look stupid narrow and have some bead sticking out. 8s i would use for 255s and wider.
