I just picked up this 72 monte and it has some nice wheels, anyone know what year car they're off of?

They are made to look like a chevy car ralleye wheel but those look like they are made by wheel vintiques. Something similar to these but with a different center cap.

so they arent corvette wheels? they have the corvette flags

 

Im pretty sure those center caps are interchangeable...

 

Whatever they are they look great on that car.

 

the guy I got them from said he paid $2000 for them and that they were off of a Corvette. I was just wondering what year Vette lol.

 

they are common on late sixties chevy muscle cars. camaro/corvette rally wheels. i had a set on my 84 2 door caprice but my center caps said general motors division on them. there are a ton of replicas on the market as well.

 

Those wheels are Chevy Rally wheels. They look exactly like the 'Vette Rally. But the 'Vette Rally is a 15x10, if those wheels are 15x8 or 15x7 then they are just Rallys, but if they are 15x10 then you have the "Real" 'Vette Rally. Fact not fiction.

 

I'm not sure but they look good.
