Default What Tires Are Best?

My Firestone store buddy has recommended 2 different tires for my 2006 MC SS. First ones were the Firestone Firehawk GT, which are great for high performance and the second ones were the Bridgestone Turanaza Serenity which is a grand touring tire. I have had the Bridgestones on my 2001 Pontiac GP GT before and they were great. Never had the Firehawks before. Any suggestions for a good all season tire?

I got the Goodyear Eagle GTs for my 05 and I love them. They are ranked as ultra high performance all season. I highly recommend them.

I HIGHLY recommend tirerack...even if you don't actually buy from them, the reviews are great.

I have used Tire Rack as a valuable resource in the decision process of buying tires. The down side to the reviews is that there is almost a non-existence of Monte Carlo drivers making reviews. If I had an idea what other automobiles were in a class close to my 06 MC SS, I would feel more reassured about the tires..

Impala for one....

Then there is the Nissan 370/350 Z...Mustangs, Camaros, Chargers etc... Pretty much anything that is on the same lines as far as performance/ handling is a pretty good comparison.
