Default What size tire for 17 in. Rim?

Hey guys, so I just purchased some new rims for my Monte, they are 17 x 7.5 in. Sport Tuning T10's. I went to a tire shop here in town and he offered me 225/60/R17, but that would throw my speedometer off. He also offered me 225/55/R17. So my main question I guess is what size tire would be the best for 17 in. x 7.5 rims?

perfect! thank you guys for the replies I'll have to go with the 235-55-17's then. I think the 17's look pretty sharp on these cars. I'll post pictures when I get the tires on them!
