In the upper left, the website's black monte carlo...whatare those 5 spoke rims called and where to get them OTHER than super high priced GM?

That's what I want in 16" for my 2005 silver LS...

Those are the same rimsI have on my car. Im not sure of the name of them, but I have seen them for sale on ebay. You should be able to find a set there for much cheaper than from GM. Those are definatly the best looking rims that GM put on that generation of monte.

 

I agree, that version look MUCH better than these on my car currently.

 

Yea. I measured mine and they are a 17" rim. Im not sure if they made it in any other sizes.

 

I believe they came on the hi sport and supercharged models. I dont think I have seen any on a regular ss or ls from factory.

 

Well I think what you are lookin for is this kind of wheel. Take a look at my album to see what I have. These are the same wheel that are on the car in the upper left corner.

 

Those are the 17" diamond cut five spoke rims. Standard on the 04 & 05 supercharged SS, and optional on the SS and LS. A polished version is on the 04 Intimidator. A version with painted sections came on the 04 Dale Jr edition, and the 05 Tony Stewart edition.

If my info is right, there's a 16" version that was an option from 2000-2003. It's also on the 02 Dale Sr edition and the 03 Jeff Gordon edition.

Please correct me if any of this info is wrong.

I'd start with Lakeshore Wheel and Tire. They are a refinisher of factory wheels. There is a shop in the Detroit area, also.
