I bought a set of Hankook Optimo H727's for my Monte. They are 225/60/16 and were $95.00 each from Tire Rack. Great in the snow and they are a quiet tire (low road noise).

Im running Pirelli Pzero Neros. They are 235/55/zr17s. I love them for the summer but I take them off for the winter and run snow tires.

I would decide based on road conditions throughout the year where you live. There are to many choices and is very confusing. Good luck with your decision. Oh I purchased Michelin Hydro Edge 235/60/16. 132.00 a tire mounted and lifetime rotation/balancing flat repair.

The Hankook Optimo H727 is a good enough tire for me! Good in the dry, good in the wet... but I can't vouch for their snow quality just yet. And if you go the Optimo route, make sure you get the H727... the 724 and 725 and 714's are all junk from what I understand. The 727 comes with a 100,000 miles warranty!!!

I'm on some continental protouring contacts right now. I usually have some goodyear tripletreads on there, but those are on my other rims.

Right now, I have 3 Uniroyal Tiger-Paw tires and one General tire because of an accident years ago, and one of the tires were blown. After this winter though, I am replacing them to get maybe some Goodyear Eagle GTs or maybe the Eagle #1 Nascar tires. Not sure yet, all depends on my budget.
