RE: Vredestein Quatrac 2 Tires

I've ALWAYS had good wear with Michelins, but this set of Pilot all seasons wore out FAST. The Energy tires were the best Michelins I've had, but I'm looking at the HydroEdge tire now, a 800AB tire. I can't find Vredestein tires around here.

Update on the Vredisteins:

Last winter they were Awesome! This winteris adifferent story. They are great at taking off in the snow, but they seam to have lost their cornering in slippery situations. They also do not have the ice traction they once had. I think they just wore out sooner than I was hoping. There are no bald spots on the tire. They wear even... There is a little over an1/8 inch of tread on them.

I am still waiting on getting my Goodyear GT’s installed on my rims, they rated real high from Tirerack.com. But, I am a little surprised that my original RSA’s (with almost 60k on them [:-]) did fairly well in the snow we got Friday night into Saturday.

Well it is time for new tires.. I got almost 60k out of these tires.. I think I am going to try Coopers next.

Would I buy these again? Yes!

I have always been a Michelin fan but like trying other stuff..

Why Coopers???

The Cooper CS4 are getting decent reviews for the price.

The Cooper dealer screwed me though...
