Vossen VVSCV5 Wheel

I literally just stumbled across this first image while doing some searches for something else and I think I may have just found my wheel. I absolutely love this look. It took me a bit to figure out what brand of wheel they are but after seeing a few similar style wheels I figured out they're by Vossen; Vossen VVSCV5 in matte graphite. They are available in 5x114.3 bolt pattern but they're only available in 20x9 and 20x10.5 which is on the wide side. Not sure if a 9 wide would actually fit well and look good on the Monte, i.e. not hang out of the side. Thoughts, opinions?

Matt, that's a good look! Would you have any issues with a 20x9 with your car being lowered?

That's the only thing I'm really wondering about; that and how they'll actually sit on the car. A 9 seems like it would possibly be too wide for the car. I'd like a little bit wider of a wheel, to give the car a more aggressive stance, but I don't want them sticking out of the side.

Yep, I always do my research before I buy. It took me a good six months to figure out what parts I wanted to use when I lowered the car. Thinking maybe going with a set of aftermarket wheels when I get my next set of tires so, since I just got a new set of tires installed a couple months ago, I've got some time. Thanks Space!

Actually, for size comparison, here's Matt's (Slugger088) car below with a 20x8.5. Looks like the wheels still sit somewhat within the fender but does sit out further than stock. I like the stance of his with the larger/wider wheels. That being said, I'm wondering what an additional 0.5" will do/look like.

Those wheels would look good if you could get a centercap with a chevy emblem to fit

Painted matte graphite to match the wheel, yes that'd look sweet.

Fitment on CarID says the VVSCV5 will not fit the Monte Carlo; not exactly sure why, maybe center bore or offset (since it's available in the correct bolt pattern). I'll have to give Vossen a call sometime soon and go over everything directly with the manufacturer.

However, the VVSCV3 does fit. Not as fond of these as I am with the VVSCV5's, but it's an option.

I like the Vossen wheels.

Did you come across the Foose Cruise wheels in your search? They are very similar in design. I don't know what sizes are available but it might give you an option if you like them. :)

I've looked at them before and I do like a few of his. I just feel like Foose wheels are more for older, or classic, vehicles. Plus, I want an all black/graphite colored wheel; I don't want any polished areas. That's hard to find in a design I like that will fit the car. I really like the look of the VVSCV5, and I'd be set on those, but if they really don't fit that's another wheel off the list. Like I said, it deserves a call to Vossen to see what's up.
