Default Vogtland coils and AGX struts?

I about to pull the trigger on some suspension stuff. I just want some opinions, since you are my Monte Carlo family
This is how it prices out:

Vogtland springs: $222.99 Shipped (Want a smaller drop)

KYB AGX struts: $460.00 Shipped

Extra parts I figured $200 for mounts ect. (Hopefully less)

Total: $882.99

Opinions?

Are you doing the install yourself, and do you have a spring compressor?

That's why I asked if he was doing the job himself, so he didn't try to start it and realize UH OH

Yeah I actually found one at Harbor Freight:

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=43753

For $40 Plus a %20 off coupon I figured I couldn't go wrong

(What do you guy think, PRICE wise, about the stuff up top)

im not sure if that one at harbor frieght is fancy or something, but when i did mine, i rented it for autozone. all you have to do is give them your id.

and idk why mounts for the monte are so expensive.

i did mine on the old lumina, basiclly the same car and the mounts were 20 bucks a piece. i reused the old bellows{rubber dust covers}. i out the old struts in a vise and cut them in have with a cut off wheel to same 30 bucks. lol

and im pretty sure the insulators on the bottom arent that much.

anyways everywere i look for the monte, the mounts are 40/50 a piece, then the bellows are 30-40 a set. seems like theirs the same parts, they just cost more.

Well its a done deal! I will be sure to take before and after shots. I just got back a while ago from Harbor Freight, I could spend $1000 in that store and still not be satisfied. I might have some install questions so hope some of you won't get too annoyed lol. I only have 17" rims and 225/55 tires but it should look nice.

PS- I used the %20 off on the Clam shell spring compressor and it ended up being only $31 before tax so I came out pretty good on it.

don't put that wimpy 225/55 on. 235/55 will look better, but if it's me i get some 17" or 18" bullitts.
