Torq Thrust Ms... any one have em?
I really like the look of American Racing's Torq Thrust Ms...
But from what I hear they dont make them in 5x115 bolt pattern
Anyone try putting them on anyway, despite them not fitting perfectly?

Do you really think that the .14mm difference in center spacing has to do with the studs breaking? I spoke with several wheel manufacturers and installers prior to buying my wheels and they all said there is no adverse effects installing the 4.5" (114.3mm) on a vehicle that has 115mm spacing. Broken studs are usually caused by improper torque. If torqued too tight it stretches and fatigues the stud. If too little torque the lug nuts work loose and the back and forth motion of the wheel against the stud cause it to break.
It is also a .35mm difference, not .14mm.
I just don't want anyone to come back after buying a set if anything happens and being mad, at least they were told.
I only put the 100% tried and true correct wheel spacing on my cars. I would personally not be comfortable putting a rim on my car that had the "wrong" spacing. If anyone else wants to that is fine.
Cliff-notes of all my arguments. Wheels are made with specific specifications, just because it says they are 5x114.3 does not mean they HAVE to be that, there are tolerances that are close enough to fit, and a tolerance the wrong way can add more stress.
Your bolt holes are angled and so is the bottom of the lug to guide. If you are torquing down and it is pulling the stud slightly, there is added stress.
If 5x114.3 and 5x115 were the same, there would be no specified differences. I would never buy from a tire place that would sell me the "wrong" bolt pattern because it is close enough. Just like you would never get your car fixed from an accident and have the paint not match 100% but "close enough"
