i guess i was wrong mine does have FE4 suspension. what probably happened was the first owner must of took off the sticker cuz there's suppose to be 2 different stickers on top of each other on the driver side door. i only have one sticker so all them times i always thought mine is not a FE4 suspension.

Could you install a set of coil spring spacers? They're inexpensive and easy to install. You''ve got about 300 lbs in your trunk when "empty" and no stock auto suspension is gonna be happy about that. Add in a full tank of gas and three friends and you're over 1,000 lbs. Fat friends even worse.

whats the difference between the two fe2 and fe4 is it the type of struts and springs used between the two types? is the fe2 a softer strut compared to a fe4?

i think fe2 is better than just fe. maybe a trailing arm or something. it says handeling on the description.

ive heard spacers maake you ride quality worse. is FE4 a smooth ride or do you feel bumps worse and popbacak quicker?

so since no one has answered the question on fitment, im going to go ahead and assume that they do.

i have fe3 and i didnt buy anything special. everything fits and works great.

not positive, but i believe fe3 and fe4 should be the same springs/struts.
i have an 03 SS high sport if that helps anyone. came with 16 inch wheels stock.

I can only speak for the gen 6 Montes but would assume the same applies for gen7, FE4 came on most SS models. The difference being spring rate (stiffer) and shock valving (also stiffer) they probably won't raise the vehicle height unless replacing the springs with newer non worn springs, Moog may make a "Cargo Coil" variable rate spring for the rear to cure just your situation, check with your local Moog dealer. The physical size and configuration of the FE4 and the other suspensions were the same, the mount rubber may have been stiffer too but stock aftermarket (KYB) fit perfectly I still have a full set of '04 FE4 struts and spring complete units available if anybody wants to upgrade
