the 97-03 gp supension sux. i know the rear spring are weak and they do sag also the their front sway tend to cracked, and trailing arm will likely bend.

the intimidator ss, jr, and TS are standard FE as far as i know. not all the ss are FE4 fyi cuz mine isn't. the 05 SS might be FE4???

does this mean my car came with fe3/fe4 suspension???
how do i check?

the only reason i ask is cause my rear end sags since the addition of subs and dynomat. just want to lift it up if possible and fe4 rear springs/ struts are supose to do that.
I've got the same problem with my 02 SS, and even switch boxes 'cause the original I had in the trunk was even heavier. It isn't as noticeable now since the switch but the car needs to be level. Does your solution would strengthen the rear enough to support the weight?

Are you sure you dont have FE4 suspension? Mine is a 2004 Supercharged SS like yours and I have FE4 suspension. If your car came with 17 inch wheels like mine it should have FE4 suspension like mine.

OOPS! No offense. Was trying to explain what I meant and didn't do it very well. Should have added some smileys on it

Hope you find something that works Mak

Hmm, well i have an 03 SS High sport and it has FE3 suspension it says....how does that make mine different if i were to change my suspension. when i got my suspension parts, they all fit fine and the same with my 18s. my car came stock with 16's.

my car didnt come with the GMPP tubular trailing arms i know, because i had to put them on lol. i didnt buy special struts or springs, just springs and struts for regular monte suspension.
