thinking of adding fe4 struts
ok so i have an 07 LT with 17's nad everytime i look at struts it says anything bigger than 16's requires special handeling package.
does this mean my car came with fe3/fe4 suspension???
how do i check?
the only reason i ask is cause my rear end sags since the addition of subs and dynomat. just want to lift it up if possible and fe4 rear springs/ struts are supose to do that.

thats what i thought to. but when you look at kyb's site it says that i need special handeling package struts. i was just wondering if they would fit and if anyone with fe4 has sag with extra stuff in the trunk. if no sag i will buy now and install in the spring.

Have you seen this site? http://www.compnine.com/vid.php

When I search with my vin it shows "FE4 - SUSPENSION SYSTEM SPECIAL RIDE & HANDLING SPECIAL SUSP(FE4)"

yeah, knew mine had FE4 because of SS, but i don't know what other cars have FE4.
sorry, was just sharing something i enjoyed looking through to try to offer another place to check the suspension type - not trying to say it should be the same, just that mine listed it specifically, so if it did or did not have an FE4 it should list it there as well.

i have FE2 it says suspension sytem/ride handeling
FE1 = soft handeling
fe3/4 = sport
well i have about 60 lbs of dynomat, a 60 lb sub, a 75 lb, box, a jack, 30 lb amp, and a 50 lb battery
dont get me wrong i like the gap, but the front is much higher. ive seen the rear hightening springs from the w body store.
but i found a set in the junkyard of an ss with 11000 miles, so basicly brand new for cheap. comes with mounts, springs, and struts/FE4
will they bolt up to mine?
i think that would give it a better stance.
i want to lower the car, but i live in ohio [pothole central] so im not sure that would be a good idea. i think it would make it too rough.

i think they all look a little off. even the grand prixs look like the rear sits lower. lowering it shouldnt be that bad its only like an inch or an inch and a half. the front should be lowered slightly more with the lowering springs to even in out. all the stuff should swap over but i wouldnt want to use struts and what not with 100000 miles on them.
