Default Thinking About Purchasing These...

I'm thinking about purchasing these for my 2001 Monte Carlo SS. According to the specs, these should fit. Let me know what you guys think:

MSR 96
5x115 bolt pattern
20x7.5
offset: 40
hub bore: 82.8
back-spacing: 5.788"

Does anyone ride on 20" rims? Any problems/concerns I should have with this size? What's the best tire size that will fit with these?

Please give me as much info as possible

Thanks.

they should fit just fine and would look real nice on a black monte. if noone helps on the tire size you can go to any online website, maybe even tirerack.com, and they should be able to help you out.

do i get upgraded to mod for dropping a sponsers name???

20's so far have posed no problem with fitment. all hell i am acting like i know what i am taking about. i would think the tires being real thin...idk. i am just talking to be talking. nice rims though. he is right about tire rack.

There are several members that run 20s without any problems, once you get to the 22+ range is where you start needing little changes.

Backspacing and offset sound right with the 7.5" wide wheel, mine are 7.5" wide with an offset of +42mm and backspacing of 5.94".

According to a quick look at tirerack 245/35-20 is what they recommend on a 20" wheel.

Yeah you should not have any problem running these. I've had several 20" rims on my monte and the only problem i've had is rubbing on the rear tires. I've ran 245-35-20 and 255-35-20 tires.

Hi DavinGee,
Great look'in Rim & I don't think you will have any problem
with fit. Just avoid the pot `holes

and be super careful around curb's
Rim Rash
Let us know what you decide, and we would love
to see pictures.
