Thinkin bout these for winter...

Default Thinkin bout these for winter...

So i was thinkin about doin the steel wheels with the police option center caps from an impala for winter... i realise they never made a police monte carlo but i think those wheels are kinda cool lookin. Has anyone done this before?!?

those look nice. people have talked about it before but I've never seen it done. what size wheels are those and are the caps available online anywhere? let us know if you you could, thanks

I have that style steel wheels with snow tires I use for the winter, minus the center cap. I am looking for the old baby moon style center caps for mine.

Well, you probably want to get somthing else to drive with in the winter, you dont wanna get your nice ones all bloched. I dont think thatll look bad on a white car either.

Trust me if i could afford somethin else to drive my car would have alot more done to it!!! haha and yeah those center caps are available on ebay actually... ive seen em for about 60 bucks or so. for the regular 16" wheels... so the tires would be the stock 225/60/16's...

Just store your good ones in a safe place, there is a guy around here with a red monte. He got some really expensive rims all custom made with gold plated trim then bought some regualr steelies for winter. His good ones got stolen(while they were in storage) and now he been driving on the steelies since the beginning of winter

Man that is harsh! luckily where i live, theft is pretty uncommon... even so i still store them in my house and have had em in the corner of my bedroom once or twice. that way if someone wants em they will have to go through me to get em! haha

Get a good piece of glass, stack rims, put down a thick piece of rubber cut to fit on top of the rims, put glass on top, Instant coffee table

my neighbor has them on an impala, maybe ill try to get a pic so everyone can have an idea of what they look like on a similar car.
