Default Thinkin about new rims, but wanna keep my tires!

Hey all,

Basically, i am a broke *** college student, but I will be recieving some extra financial aid money soon. So i am gonna finally throw on some tint on the monte, and was thinking about getting some rims. But the thing is, i don't want to but new tires for a bigger rim. So what size rims could I get that would fit my stock tires? Right now i just have the stock hubs(OHHH YA) that came with the car. Thanks

Pm

What are they 16", 17" or 18". Monte's came with all three sizes. A good place to check out rims is tirerack.com. The site lets you select your car, then shows you what the rims would look like on it. Pretty neat.

yah, we need to know what size wheels you have now, probably be 16's

if they're 17's you could go with the style like mine, they're on ebay for a set of 4 for 395

Tire Rack has a good web page, but a severly limited selection of rims. Try Discount Tire. That's where I got mine. Best prices I found.

Yeah, if you're rockin' the stock hubcaps, you will only be able to fit a 16" wheel in those tires. Not necessarily a bad thing, though...there are lots of choices out there for you, and it will be cheaper to buy a 16" wheel. I like tiresdelivered.com, found lots of good wheels at good prices there.

Good luck! Post pics when you have 'em in.

Again, hostility is not appreciated. Four previous members have replied respectfully and honestly. Not everyone understands how tires work on a vehicle. Please refrain from being obnoxious.
