RE: sway bars???
I haven't had any experience wtih em on the Monte, but I had a Suspension Techniques 19mm sway bar on my Accord and it made the car handle like it was on rails, I loved it. I don't think im gonna do that on this car cause I don't drive it like I drove the Honda. Plus I was into autox back then too.

RE: sway bars???
most of the time as a rule of thumb, theyar e a good upgrade as the stock sway bars are not of the poreformance type they are mearly somethign big enough to hold the body roll to a min.
if you have ever rode in a old car like fromt he 50's with otu the sway bars you will uinderstand.
but i would say anything better then what you have now will be a improvment to the car. that and springs
I am looking at getting the tighter springs for mine i just hate it will lower my car 1-2 inches all the way around I like the ride height now. but that with the sway bars would be a great combo
And not to expenive
