Talking svt rims on monte?

Im thinking of getting a set of shelby cobra svt wheels for my 2002 monte.they are 18x9.5.I know the bolt patern will work but irony know if im going to have trouble with tire rub.if anybody has this size rim on there car let me know if you've had any problems.also what would be the best tire size to run.I was thinking of putting on some 255/45/18s.I think that would look pretty hot.thanx for the help.

Aren't they 5x114.3?

Also 9.5 is going to be too wide for the car

They will be too wide. The MIGHT fit in the back but up front they definately wont fit in the wheel well and you wouldnt be able to turn the wheel completely.

Bolt pattern: 5x115. Offset: 35 to 45 mm. Tires up to 696x235mm. Rims up to 21x8.5"

So I could possibly get away with a 245/45/18 under the front.

No, he's right. His dad does have a GTP with Cobra rims, but I don't think they are the SVT, and I don't think they are any larger than 8.5 wide.
