Default Rear wheel / Tire Help

Need advice for rear tire / wheel for 73. Going with GM Division Rally's trying to find out if fitment will be an issue. EITHER 275/60 15 on 8" w/ 4.5" backspace OR 295/50 15 on 10" w/ 5" Backspace. Any advice would be appreciated

The correct rally wheel for that car is 7"×15", code FW – the code is stamped on the wheel next to the valve stem.
The original tire size is GR70-15; the closest modern equivalent is 225/70R15.
I run 255/60R15 all the way around which fill the wheel wells nicely, negligible change in speedometer reading, improve handling and don't rub on the frame.

Are you wanting to run two different tire sizes? What's your ultimate goal with your car? Unless you're building a dedicated ¼-mile sprinter or a trailer queen show car, I urge you to reconsider.

i am just looking for that old school wider tire in the rear with a slight rake to the over all stance, but want to stay with the Chevy Division Rally wheels
