Most likely I would assume no. You are always supposed to drive with a "safe distance" from other vehicles, so if you can't get out of the way of something they probably won't side with you. No matter the circumstances.

Agreed with what Chibi said...

IMO, you're better off paying out of pocket for this. It would suck to have insurance blaim you, and then give you an at fault accident on your record for something that you could fix without them ever knowing.

That's very true. See how much this would cost and then decide if you can pay for it out of pocket. Going through your insurance would cost you your deductible, and then probably have your insurance go up.

I remember once my car, (Not my Monte, previous car) slid on some snow/ice and I hit a curb going 10mph with my wheel, it threw my alignment off, bent my tie rods, and my car's steering wheel was always bent to the left a bit to keep it going straight.

I'd check the tie rod, wheel bearing, ball joint, alignment, camber alignment system wheel well, and possibly the tire. You definitely need an alignment, the other things I mentioned are just possibilities.

sounds like lower a arm tie rod maybe im stressing on this mabe a axel for that side. tie rod and a arm i think you can do your self then go to s align ment shop they will adjust the rest but they will also will tell you what you really need to fix it first
