Default raising the rear end on a 6th gen

so is there a way you can lift the rear on the 6th gens? i know its pointless because its a fwd but hey how many people have a spoiler on the 5th and 6th gens? (including me) so i have a few options i know of

1. hockey pucks- dangerous in the winter and when it heats up not a good idea

2. body blocks- cheap and plentiful very good option but i want more options

is there anything else?? springs, shocks, etc

theres springs that lift the rear or stop the sag if you have a system in the back, i havent had a problem with my system yet, but im sure someone will jump in here soon and post a link. those should probably help your situation i think it raises about an inch.

lift in comparison to the front? Or lift for other reasons?

You could always just lower the front of the car :P

Although I don't know why you would want to do that, I could see you fishtailing in poor weather, etc.

i think its because his exhaust hangs 6-8 inches off the ground now, so hes trying to bring that up so it doesnt rub.

trewyn is completely right, i need my rear lifted a smidge because of the exhaust hanging down. the springs sound like a good idea but how would they be installed. lowering the front really wouldn't help me because the back needs to be lifted. and fwi chibi, my last car was a '96 ford t-bird with bald tires, i think i got the winter driving down

A few inches shouldn't matter, but consider that if you lift the rear, the front will drop. The "chin skirt" beneath the rad cradle is probably closer the 6" already, so it may drag when you lift the back.

thinking i'm basically screwed on this. the springs were a good idea but $130 for 1" sounds a bit steep for me. the spring/body spacers sound a little iffey to me and the hockey pucks, no way jose. i might have to bite the bullet and get the muffler repositioned
