Painted my Tire Letter's Yellow

Are you able to use tire shine stuff without making the painted letters run or appear dirty?

I just used some Turtle Wax Wet n Black to shine mine and it worked fine. To apply over the yellow letters I just sprayed a paper towel and pressed it down over the letters. As long as you don't rub over them like crazy it hardly takes any yellow paint off. I'm surprised at how durable the Posco pens are. Touch-ups are usually from brushing the curb, not the elements.

I was thinking of doing this to my JG Monte. IT sucks Goodyear doesnt sell them anymore, i would have even bought the white letter ones !
