Guys, I have an `84 monte and I just bought a set of wheels and tires for my car, I got a great deal on them and I was assured they would fit, I checked the bolt pattern with a dial caliper and everything seemed OK,the fronts fit fine (smaller tires) but after installing the rear wheels (p235/60/16) there is a slight amount of tire rub on the frame rails, I can turn the wheel by hand but there is some resistance, I`m going to auto zone tomorrow to buy some spacers, they come in 5/16" thickness.
Do you think one per side would be enough or would I have to use two per side for safety's sake?

 

The 5/16" spacers worked fine, didnt have to double them.
