Agreed!

That is a sweet looking wheel! It would look sharp on your car. I would step up to the 18's, though.

They're nice enough, but no better then the stock ones IMO. But if they're more cost effective then re-conditioning the old ones (if those ones are that bad) I'd say go for it. Your brakes will be highly visable

I know a couple of people with 18s on their cars and they have both bent a front rim hitting pot holes around here. Granted, I don't drive my car as hard as they do, but (imo) the ride quality really suffered when they put the 18s on their cars. I know that the rubber compound plays a big role in road noise, but it also increased significantly. The price of tires seems to jump quite a bit also when you move up to 18s.

I wish I could find rates like that around here. The prices I've been quoted range from $155 to $200 per wheel just to refinish mine with the silver paint/machined face. I also have to consider down time (1 to 2 weeks) while the wheels are being reconditioned.

The price of tires do go up, but that is just because the 245/45/18 tire size is reserved for "sports tires". You don't get the economical tires.

I love my 18s, and I have hit stuff HARD with them, never damaged anything.

How is your ride? Did you have a noticable increase in feeling the bumps in the road? What about road noise? I know riding in my friends cars with 18s it reminds me of riding in a truck - very bumpy ride and lots of road noise. I suppose that could be the tires they are running, but I don't want to drop a lot of coin on wheels/tires only to be disatisfied with the ride quality or excessive road noise. I did look at a few 18s while searching. I do like the look of the Menzari Z12 Chrome 18x8...

I did notice a little bit of roughness change. But that was to be expected.

There isn't noise, cheaper tires make noise. Mine are good in that aspect.
