Default New Tires Today

Last night my rear passenger tier suffered a fatal stab wound from a nail. It was time to replace the tires anyway. I called a few shops to find the best deal. I ended up going to the Goodyear shop. I put a set of 4 new Kelly Charger GTs on. There were 79 ea on clearance. I was going to get an alignment done but it turns out that my front passenger spring is broken and is slowly twisting around and will slice into my new tire. So, this saturday Im replacing some springs and struts. So much for my xmas cruise...

On a side note... the effect of the broken spring is kinda cool... it looks like I lowered it to a NASCAR standard, Ill get pics of it tomorrow.

And on another side note. The shop inflated them to about 30 psi ea... the max is 51 psi... should I pump more into them? they almost look like they are under inflated, but the whole lean in the car may be giving me that illusion

30 PSI is the right pressure according to the door jam for our cars. Personally I run a smidge higher at 32 PSI, and I have good tire wear at that pressure.

I run my car at 33 all around.

Have you reset your tire pressure monitor after checking to make sure they are all the same PSI?

push your light switch (probably not the right term) in an out a few times until you hear a beep, that will reset the tire pressure sensor. Mine comes on after a tire rotation usually.
