Default New Tires for the Monte: BFG Comp2

The old tires were reaching the don't push me to hard point, so I ditched them. The new ones are BFG's brand new style of tire, was not even stocked, they had to special order them in. I love the BFG tires, have run the G-Force Sport's for about 4 years now. Seem to get about 18,000 miles from them and then for the most part their toast after that. But for one I really am impressed with their road gripping abilities. These new tires are also the G-Force Sport but they are the "Comp 2" series Z rated. Fully redesigned for even better handling and longer tread life. Guess I will see from here how they hold to the corners.

Nice tires and I sure hope you get more than 18K out of them. That seems a little on the low side.

Hey bud hi, well I do tend to run the heck out of them. Plus keep them underinflated to 25 lbs for better traction. I'm not out of line with them really, have read other user reviews who are not thrilled about the tire life, but then we feel you have to sacrifice something for the AMAZING traction they deliver. I won the autocross running these tires, they just grip so very well. I will follow your advice and keep a log on these tires longevity. take care....Going to see Sam's Monte this Wednesday, was told some major work has been completed. Will take my camera......

Well I know you don't take it easy on them with that car why would you even try to take it easy?

I hope these new tires treat you well and you have plenty of fun, safe and fast paced miles with them
