Default New Rims! give me opinions!

Picked up some 22" rims for really cheap with some really good tires(for the price 85-90% tread)

rims are 22" with a 6" lip
Brand is Bonetti wheels

give me some opinions, but they're not coming off.
criticism is welcome, i just want to know honest opinions.

im from joliet illinois and big rims are not something looked down upon here haha
imho if you make it look good and not tacky its a win.

i voted no, but dont be offended. till a few years ago i ran staggered 14 front, 15 back on my 80. that looks a little dated, but ive always been stuck on the skinny and fatty look(finally running 15s at all four corners). if you like the way it looks thats what matters. i will say that i hope they pave roads where your at. that sidewall in jersey wouldnt work. your wheels would be destroyed with all the potholes out here. also ive seen a guy run a similar wheel on his monte in a similar size and they looked good. his centers were painted to match the car, it gave it a better look. flowed with the car better than a huge shiny wheel does.

They are okay.. Not a fan of huge wheels. Hows the ride on those rubber bands?

Those wheels would be destroyed in my town by all the potholes, the main thing is that you are happy with them. I wouldn't have wheels that big on my Monte but they do look nice on yours.

I personally am not a fan. Not really because of the size, because as you said, if done right then it can look good. I'm just more of a 5 spoke guy myself haha. But all that matters is that you like it.

I saw a guy today that has those same exact wheels on his Monte...

This guy was all over the road and could hardly keep it in his lane!

We got to the railroad tracks...everyone one around behind him was highly annoyed at his inability to drive it down the road...but it must have taken every bit of 5 mins to cross the dbl tracks! Naturally there was a lot of lip service and horn blowing at this guy.... he couldnt have been any older than 16...

I couldnt help to get home to tell the Mrs...
we laughed our butts off..

Its a good thing I wasnt stuck behind him!

No offense... but thats just waaaay to ridiculious! IMO

yeah blaze thats what im trying to get at.

and stumpmi, thats a funny story. i stay out of peoples ways for that same reason. i try not to be a pain in peoples driving when im on the road but regardless those people should understand that even if you dont like them theyre expensive and denting them or scraping them hurt haha then you get problems like the rims dont roll straight and cant be balanced and just make your car shake. every one has theyre own opinion.
