Need Help! 215/70/16's on my stock wheels?
I have a 95 Z34 with stock 215/60/16's(tires)on it...a friend has almost new 215/70/16's that I can get dirt cheap (Tiger Paws). Does anyone know for sure if they will be ok without rubbing the strut tower or anything else??? Going from 60 series to 70 series??? Thanks !!!!

well the first ones you said are 26.2" in diameter and the second (70's) are 27.9" in diameter so if you think you got room for the extra 1.7" in there then you should be fine...i'm not 100% sure but they should be ok..as they're the same width...i guess you'll just have to test fit them.....they're cheap right? you may as well try

i recently did something like that recently at work, and i dont recomend it, it was on a 03 camry and the depatment had some good tires laying around.... anyways put on a 75 series tire where a 65 series should of been. well it worked, but it was close. but it looked RIDICULOUS, wheel wells look FULL, might not raise it an inch, but u'd think it was 3, had more gound clearance than most minivans afterwards, the speedometer would of been wayyy off, its going to decrease acceleration slightly like having higher gears, and im sure it handled worse.... and theres probly other things. but on the other hand, cheap, probly ride a bit more plush, and possibly increase mileage due to the higher gearing
