These wheels appear to have a slight gold tint to them which also seems to be flaking off in some areas. The 5 holes all seem to be hand painted black. I'm going to assume that a previous owner painted them. Does that sound right?

 

Yes those look painted different than stock. I believe the originals are silver painted steel with black insets, as pictured here.
