the black with machined lip is really starting to take off on the monte lol

 

Oh yeah...those buckets really compliment the dark tone of the paint and the headlights. It would look really great with the high sport appearance package ground effects!

 

yah thats what i was thinkin too...get the high appearance sport kit...

that grill makes a nice little mod to these cars too...that gives it a huge different look as well...i love the grill...that was the first thing i noticed on my monte wheni bought mine

Those are sometimes known as the JDM black headlights for the Monte Carlo. JDM is a company that makes them, but there are some other manufacturers out there that make them as well.

 

do you know a few of the manufacturers?? because i've been trying to get my supplier to find them..but they need to know the manufacturers

Your car looks great with black rims

 

The popularity of black rims is higher than I can remember in these recentyears. I remember that I painted my rally rims black on my 67 Chevelle back in the late 70's.

At the time this wasn't very popular, after I added the chrome beauty rings and chrome center caps, my Chevelle looked totally different from most cars those days.

Most guys were running with either aluminum slotted rims or Cragar Super Sports. Those were the only 2 rims available for hot rods back then.
