LSD?
So, I was looking at an LSD kit for my monte, and was curious as to whether anyone else was running an limited slip differential on their vehicle? I have seen them on rear wheel drive vehicles, never front.
Here is a video from intense racing. They claim that having an lsd not only increases your launch times, but is also reduces torque steer.

I hope at least someone has an LSD?

How much? Because if it is available, and you can afford it, do it!
Just dont' drive your car very fast in the rain and don't even think about driving it in the snow.

Wait, why would that hurt in the snow at all? Wouldnt that help with traction giving both wheels the ability to grip..
Oh, and its like, 500 bucks.

And if you get into a skid or spin out, forget about trying to counter-steer with posi or LSD.
FWD's are different than RWD in a spin-out.
As oposed to RWD, you are supposed to point your wheels in the direction of your travel and punch the gas when you spin out in a FWD.
This technique relies on the full slip capabilities of your FWD.
The physics change when you apply posi or LSD.

Well, the FWD goes great in the snow now, so why would adding a second tire to help grip be any different?

I'm just quoting my 30+ years of skiing and driving a multitude of cars through the Sierras and San Gabriel mountains.

well at least I dont have a rwd with all that power
I still may go with the LSD, just take it easy on the throttle this winter
