Default Lowing Springs

I am thinking about getting some lowering springs for the front of my 01 SS, i just want to put them on the fronts because i have 2 12in subs sitting in the trunk that pull the back of car down quite a bit.

Just wondering what most people have on their cars for springs and what to expect to spend on them, where to find them, and how hard installation would be on them.

Thanks
-Brady

I bought mine on ebay ($89.00). The front are a little easier to install than the rear. I have a cheap spring compressor I bought from Napa Auto Parts. It not a bad job.

Eibach is a great spring but they don't make them for the 6th Gens anymore. I had Eibachs on my 03 and couldn't complain, nice solid ride imo. I just ordered a set of SSC's for my 06 after comparing a few different spring manufacturers and contemplating for two weeks. Advertised drop in front and back of 1.7" and 1.5" respectively. $180 shipped from SSC.

I am Probably going to go with the ebay springs for 89.98 once i get enough money for them. only going to drop the front since i have pretty heavy subs in the rear that dropped the rear down to right around 28.5 to the top of the flare.

my dad is a service manager at a local chrysler dodge jeep and ram dealership so they have all the tools down there to put them on so im not worried about that at all.

Thanks!
