lowering springs

Default lowering springs

i was wondering if anone here has installed an eibach prokit set of springs i am wondering if it reqired to camber kit or not

No you do not have to purchase a camber kit when installing lowering springs. Just make sure you get the car aligned afterwards.

I have the Eibachs and all you have to do is have it re-aligned. But, I would highly recommend also going with KYB struts. If you don't it may not ride right, maybe have some extra bouce to it.

is it really worth lowering the car? how much does it improve handling? are there any downsides?

Look on my profile for a pic of mine with the eibach springs. The pic really doesn't do it justice because it's parked on the side of the raod on an incline. I have some other pics of it sitting flat somewhere I'll try to find and post.

As far as handling, the improvement is tremendous. With 255-45 Dayton tires, it really handles well. The ride is alot firmer, but not unbearable. I always thought the stock ride was too soft anyway. I think the improvement in handling is well worth the investment. I just bought SLP sway bars, too. Now if I can just find the time to install them...
