as long as you roll the lips, your going to be fine. granted, I dont have to worry about it... but, be careful not to lower TOO much. take into consideration sound equipment and things like how full your trunk usually is. with mine always having close to 150 pounds of speakers, boxes, amps... ect... + what ever else it would be a tough squeeze.
