nice thanks for all the info

i have 18" rims so i wont have to worry bout the tires rubbing either and maybe in the future even upgrade to 20" =)

just out of curiousity are these the ones you installed in your car?

yup those are it correct part number!

You can stay with the 18 and see how your car looks after doing it and if there is still a gap between the fenderwell and tire then when you need tires just get a taller tire in height size if you like, just a thought but performance wise you will tell how nice the turning is and how it handles right out of the gate.

btw off topic a bit but you're the only one i know with the 06 that has that mpd inc cai. how has your experience with that intake been? and does it make any significant increase in performance??

awesome you will like the lowering kit

There are a two people with the cold air intake by mpd and the hood scoop for it, If you do the hood and intake tremendous difference,

but the hood is a little pricey

Just the intake best one I think, it protects my pcm computer it has a heat shield on the inside to help keep the air cooler the lid can be taken on or off easily,

Definately in winter I notice how good my intake is in the morning and can tell performance wise, Its a good upgrade and do it this way instead of buying a cheap ebay kit, the ebay kit only sucked in hot air for me and would loosen up too.

I get alot of compliments on the intake because it matched my brake lines close to it, the k&n air filter is nice and big, it works and loos great

yea this summer im really going to work on the performance of my car

i got the lowering springs ordered, next up is a custom exhaust and finally the cai and the hood is way too pricey lol maybe when i get all other performance done first

any special install problems with the cai? bc i called once and was told that i was going to need an adapter to be able to install it in my 3.5l ls..

You will need an adapter its called a coupler, a coupler has two sizes in it so the air hose connects and the air filter can connect, I believe its a 4"-3.5" coupler, if thats not the correct size you can exchange the coupler for the one that will fit.

Not gonna do sway bars yet, I am gonna go with the BMR Strut bars soon

I want to do so may things I am gonna make a list and prioritize my mods,

Strut bars

paint the brake calipers with g2 paint

performance brakes

customize my hood insulator

thinking about the headliner

want to do a flush look in the trunk meaning a trunk cover

paint some engine cover pieces

In time just keep doin one thing at a time and it comes along nicely

well i have the eibach kit on my car, i know its not the same (mine being an 03) but what a difference in looks. just tonight for the first time another 00-03 monte parked right next to me at the movie theater...first time seeing a side by side parked comparison of my car vs. another of the same.....HUGE difference with the springs vs. stock. i looked at the gap between his fender and wheel and looked at mine......wow. i'd never be able to go back to stock height. it was cool cause it was also a black monte......looked completely stock.

i looked at his car overall, then looked at mine. I was proud on how far mine has come haha
