Looking for wheels on 6th gens!

So, I'm far away from doing this, but it's on my mind and I am trying to make up my mind. I want to ditch my stock 16" wheels at some point (get some nice 5 or 10 spoke wheels).

I want to keep the tire diameter the same as what it is now, but go to a bigger rim. I'm thinking about 17's at the moment.

I was wondering if anyone can share pics of there 6th gen Monte showing off some wheels going from 17's and up? I figure if I can see what others have done and what it looks like, it will help me in determining what I really want in the end.

Thanks gang!!

Bump....

Nothing? I'm just looking for some pics of 6th gen Monte's showing off different wheel sizes (and to include those sizes with the pic).

Chibi, the I really like your wheels (and the entire car). The roof rails look sweeeeet!

Chibi - Refresh my memory.... What size are the rims? 17's?

ChibiBlackSheep 10-11-2010 10:26 AM

OK, now... Is the tire still the same diameter as the stock ones?

My goal in the end is to get a wider rim and keep the same wheel diameter (so I don't have to worry about the speedo and such needing re-calibrated) and as such, less sidewall.

BTW - I still like your rim swap! The stock ones we have just scream "get rid of me"....

Yes they are the same size as stock for the speedometer.
