Hi All,

I have a 2001 SS which has a slight sag in the rear end as they all do. I was wondering what would be the best way to lift the rear 1" to 1.5"? Some informed me that the Monroe quickstrut was the way to go. Any suggestions?

eibach springs lower 1.3 in front and 1.0 in the rear that would be closer or if you just lowered the front but i would not raise it myself... I don't think they look that bad with the sqat .. i put the Eibach pro kit on and it looks pimp.. up to you bro

 

dagrease22 post some pics up of your ride, i wanna see a monte with a lowering kit.

 

A slight sag in the rear? Are you sure your rear suspension isn't shot? The only time I've seen a Monte draggin' @$$ is when there is too much load in the trunk or too many people in the car!!

 

well a quick strut is just going to put it back the way it was when you got it, they're a stock spring, strut and mount all in one ready to go in, if there's a sag in your rear end (hehehe...lol....) then you most likely have something shot back there

 

I have checked it all out and it doesnt appear that something is shot. I wont say it is a terrible sag. The rear end just seems a little lower than the front end and if I put a couple of people in the back, then it really compresses. I dont think I want to lower the front as I already scrape the pavement with the air dam at times

there's something definetely off then if your back end is lower, if its noticable anyway, if its nothing then maybe not, but if its like an inch out or something then your springs may be shot

looks to me its sagging a bit, possibly springs are shot, i dunno, do you have lots of weight in it often??
