I have a 1988 monte and want to run 215/65 15 on 15x 8 with 3" backspace on the front and 255/60 15 on 15x 10 with 3 1/2" backspace on the rear. Does anyone see any problem with this configuration?

i think the rim sizes are odd. kind of a skinny tire for wide wheels.

i used to run 275/60/15 on an 8" rim with 3.5" backspacing on the rear of my 80. thats the biggest i could go with out rubbing anywhere. the fronts ive run 165s up to 205s. the 205s i would run on a 15x6 rim. the really skinny bike tires dont like to take corners at a high rate of speed. if you have your heart set on those tire sizes id go an inch narrower in the front and 2 in the rear.
