Default Info on Wheels!!

Im looking at a set of wheels on tire rack, they offer the same wheel with 2 different backspacing's. One is 5.98" and the other is 6.02". Is there a big difference in the 2. Which would be better for me, or does it not matter?

What is the wheel width? For the stock 17 x 6.5" wheel, the offset is 40 (equals backspace of 5.3"). If you are going with a 7.5" wide wheel, that same offset would be 5.8" backspace. Any more backspace than the 5.8" (on a 7.5" wide wheel) could cause potentially some clearance issues with the suspension. I have no experience with that combo on a Monte, so can't say for sure it will cause clearance issues. Personally, I would stick with the same offset (40) regardless of wheel width.
